First off, no, I’m not gonna bitch about Silent Bible (the song) being total crap or whatever, I personally liked it (yes, even before that oh-my-goddess PV), so hah :p Anyway, onto the actual review~

01. Silent Bible

(Elements Garden)
(Elements Garden)

The song starts off with a decent intro, but nothing we haven’t seen a lot of times from Nana’s songs. Then, ok, I’ll admit, it starts off somewhat dull, but, hey, it picks up the pace not too late after that! I really like the fast-paced lyrics part (haha, Nanatard :p), and the arrangement generally feels nice. Nope, nothing to complain about here. The only thing I could say about it is that it’s kinda… Forgettable… We generally expect more impressive songs for Nanoha, but then again, Massive Wonders bleh >_>

02. Polaris

Well, it had to happen at some point. So far, Nana’s mainstream-ish songs were still not so far off from what you might get from an anisong, but this one is pretty much the typical song you’d hear any normal singer singing, so, well, it served it’s purpose I suppose? As for the actual song, I found it rather pleasant, and that’s coming from a person who generally growls at anything R&B, Soul, Hip Hop, etc. and doesn’t give them second chances. Well, I suppose if this were anyone other than Nana, it wouldn’t be any different. i.e. I’d listen to it once, say something like, “yeah, whatever, at least its not crap,” and then forget it for the rest of my life. But alas, Nana-chan is Nana-chan. I find myself enjoying this song first thing in the morning nowadays ^^; Oh btw, while I did say it’s what you’d hear any normal singer singing, I really don’t think it was a good idea to make Nana sing it. It’s simply too normal. Even mainstream-tards would probably overlook it with ease =x

(Elements Garden)

Did I ever mention how much I love the Hibiki+Agematsu combo? (Maria&Joker does not exist. I’d rather think it was some sort of prank song created just for the sake of Nana kicking ass in Live Diamond *nods*). It’s a bit disappointing that Agematsu hasn’t been working on arrangements lately though, but Nakayama Masato managed a rather suitable arrangement, so no complaints for the song. It just rocks :p Live version probably even more so (since Nana herself said she wants to sing it live so that the audience can go “Unchain Hearts!!” along with her :p I know I’ll be doing that when I watch Live Academy BD ^^ (Lucky bastards that have gone/will be going to watch it now >.<))

04. undercover

Undoubtedly the best song on the single. It’s an all around good song. Nothing lacking, but I suppose there isn’t really anything awe-inspiring either. Reminds me a bit of UD’s ray of change in that sense perhaps? But undercover is probably a bit more fun, especially with that awesome violin solo XD

And that pretty much concludes this useless review that took me a whole week to write up. Yes, I’m awesome like that :p Last thing left is the usual “personal preference” corner that I figure no one really cares about, but here we go anyway:

1, UNCHAIN∞WORLD (Madness? THIS. IS. NANA!!!!!!!)
2, undercover (purrrfect, but me likes emotional Nana best, so hah)
3, Silent Bible (just realized that Nana actually fixed her habit of writing English titles all in caps :o)
4, Polaris (the bottom of the top? or the top of the bottom?)

Haha, so that’s that ^^ For those who don’t follow my tweets (and you probably do well with that), I mentioned that my Feito-chan figure by Alter finally arrived. Unfortunately I didn’t have a decent cam at hand back then, but now I do, so I’ll try posting its review tomorrow. I won’t promise anything though ’cause we’re having guests over for lunch and stuff (i.e. the best time to take pics >.<) So for now, fingers crossed, me will do my best~ XP

Unfortunately, I wouldn’t really call the camera we got epic >,< But really, unless I spend half a year's worth of my salary on the cam, it'll probably never be worth such an epic figure XD I'll try doing my best taking the pics, but I suppose for now, I'll just let the pics talk for themselves once they're out =3

Oh, and it's good to have you back, Anata!! We missed your comments on the blog :p
