Well true, but I had no decent screenshot to pull that. :p And you can’t really blame incompetence when they’re up against epic Kuniko :p I mean they ARE incompetent but it needed someone far weaker than Kuniko to make that point. And DAMN, I forgot about Ryoko’s “I need a present” dialogue… I even had the screens for that… Meh, oh well, better leave some surprises in there I suppose, I don’t like to edit the post that much after it’s published.

I’m sure you could have got some more jokes out of the battle, such as how the fighter pilots couldn’t hit something larger than a barn or about the shapes of the mimetic fighters.

Finally. I’ve been wanting Kuniko to do something sweet. They teased us in the first episode with how much the wind loves this girl and then nothing much until now. I’m very forgiving of unrealistic physics when it looks good and as soon as she steps onto the flying ship it was fun.
